She worked as an administrative assistant following the completion of her Masters degree. She holds a current level 1 & level 2 kettlebell certification from the international organization StrongFirst. She also has a level 1 & level 2 certification from Functional Movement Systems.

Cherie has been passionate about weight training and nutrition for over 25 years. Her introduction to  Functional Movement Systems and StrongFirst kettlebell principles led to her increased study on biomechanics and their uses in mobility, stability and strength training. It was her vision to integrate Functional Movement Systems, and StrongFirst kettlebell principles within a chiropractic clinic because the combination has been life changing for her.  The combination is a novel approach that is not offered locally or anywhere in the state.

She enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.
